RULES AND POLICY
Welcome to The Starlite Drive-In Theater in Litchfield, MN
We hope you have a wonderful time tonight. To ensure everyone enjoys the show, we kindly ask that you follow these guidelines:
ParkIng Properly:
Screen 1: Please park between the designated poles, ensuring that exactly two cars can comfortably fit between each set of poles.
Screen 2: Please park with approximately a door's length of space between each vehicle to ensure everyone has a clear view.
Larger vehicles (lifted trucks, wide transit vans) should park in the back rows of both screens to avoid obstructing the view of smaller cars.
Parking is first-come, first-serve, so please do not use chairs, blankets, or car doors to save spaces for vehicles that haven't arrived yet.
Headlights:
HEADLIGHTS: Please ensure your headlights and daytime running lights are all the way off for the duration of the movie.
BRAKE LIGHTS: Keep from resting your foot on the brake pedal while parked.
NAVIGATING: Please keep your lights off or use your "dim" parking lights if you must move your vehicle during the show.
TECH TIP: Having trouble killing the lights? On most modern vehicles, setting your parking brake before you turn the key/press the start button will disable your daytime running lights. If you’re still stuck, our parking attendants are happy to assist or provide blankets to cover them!
Sound:
Screen 1: 90.5 FM.
Screen 2: 89.1 FM.
The sound for the movie is projected through a local broadcast radio station and most phones do not have the capability to pick up local radio broadcast channels, so we encourage you to bring your own personal radios. We do have radios to rent inside our concession building if you need.
Please keep your volume at a reasonable level so that the other screen will not hear you speakers.
Turn Your Car Off:
To minimize fumes and noise for everyone, we'd appreciate it if you could turn your car off. You can either use accessory mode to run the car's battery or simply turn your radio on and off with your voulume dial. If you must run your vehicle, please maintain a near-silent idle; otherwise, we may need to ask you to turn it off.
Clear View:
We want everyone to have a perfect view of the show! You are welcome to keep your trunk or hatch open while watching the movie. However, if your vehicle is exceptionally tall or if your hatch is open high enough to block the person behind you, we will kindly ask you to either rearrange your car in a way so the view is better, tether down your hatch with twine so its level with the roof of your vehicle or move to a back row.
Pro tip: Most hatches are fine as long as the vehicle is level on the ground!
General Guidelines:
NO GRILLING
NO SCREEN SWITCHING: Your ticket is valid for the double feature on the specific screen you purchased. Please do not switch between Screen 1 and Screen 2 during the intermission, as our licensing agreements are based on per-screen attendance.
Respect Others: Please be considerate of your fellow moviegoers and keep noise to a minimum during the movies.
Pets: Pets on leashes are welcome, but, as always, please clean up after them.
Restrooms: Restrooms are located inside the concession stand and portajohns are located outside behind the concession stand.
Concessions: Our concession stand offers a variety of snacks and drinks. Please stop in the main building in the center of the property!
Weather: Movies will play rain or shine unless severe weather conditions occur.
Refunds: We regret that we cannot issue refunds once the movie has started.
Entry/Exit: Please enter and exit the theater slowly and carefully.
Thank you for coming, and we hope you thoroughly enjoy the show!
